About
Simple, contemporary and lightweight, My collection offers something unique for everyone. Each individual piece is hand made in my studio, with special attention details.
cultivated from organic forms and playful shapes with architectural and minimal elements come to life in silver and 18k gold, combining both masculine structure and the beauty of feminine contours.
I earned my formal degree in conceptual design at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem, Israel.
After graduating, and making an award-winning career in graphic design. I was relocated from Israel to Japan with my family and finally to the United States, working as a freelance graphic artist. All the while, I designed jewelry for my friends and family. As the popularity of my collection grew, I decided to create a line of jewelry for the retail market.
In the Pacific Northwest the Iris Guy jewelry collection can be found at the Seattle Art Museum store, Re-soul in Ballard and Kobo Gallery as well as many fine boutiques and galleries around the city. In Israel, the collection is available at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art store and in fine boutiques and homestyle stores in Israel.
In addition to my jewelry, I created a textile art and embroidery art works. In this era of change during covid, I've embraced this opportunity and for the last years, have been immersed the embroidery creations in my work as a metalsmith.I combine digital moments, with printed mass production items, using craftsmanship I was taught by my grandmother, to a fine art works.
My work both the jewelry and the embroidery art, reflects my experiences in a very specific purposeful and personal way..
